so i made it to the usa for the first time, visting new york for 12 days. i'm staying with friends in brooklyn and i've already put the search option to use, hit brooklyn flea market last saturday and will visit good records tomorrow. i would be grateful for more current tips if there are any. good concerts this week (hip hop, soul, funk, whatever), any flea markets other then the brooklyn flea market (and no, i'm not looking to buy the entire blue note catalogue for a 1$ a piece:)) but would love to see a flea market that is less dealer dominated?
btw: did anyone ever check out that 100.000 records collection i saw a photocopied leafletter near rockaway beach for yesterday?
