Screw Perry til the cows come home. But he has yet to kill any innocent civilians with rogue drone bombings.
Drones are coming to law enforcement soon.
Drones will allow your local police to better see and hear hostage situations and other standoff situations.
Drones will also help in search and rescue, they will be able to go into collapsed buildings to look for survivors.
They can help fire fighters see into burning buildings to asses risk or to pin point wildfire flare ups.
They can do surveillance on drug manufacturing operations.
And most importantly, they can do surgical strikes on bad guys.
All this is available, or soon will be available to your local police.
This technology will also be available to our enemies.
I have seen or heard too much news today, but I heard Romney was swinging but Perry was ducking.
I'm confident Perry will fade and the Rs will start shouting for Christie, Rubio, Walker or Giuliani or some other savior. Any one but Romney is their cry.
I thought Palin wasn't going to run, but she is spending all her time in early primary dates, so I guess she declare by the deadline.

The biggest take I've been hearing on Perry is his hard stance on Social Security as a "Ponzi Scheme".
A handful of pundits (R,D, and otherwise) seem to think this won't fly in the general election.

I agree with those pundits.
It is no more a ponzi scheme than life insurance or any other insurance.
I think Ron Paul has the anti-ssi vote locked down.

It won't, including among Tea Partiers who say it's a Ponzi scheme in public.
I'm guessing the average TP'er is in their 50s or 60s, meaning they've been paying into it for years - think they'll be happy when the government decides to cancel SS and keep their $$$?
I think Obama kinda kicked the Rs in the butt just now.

In last night's debate Perry actually advocated for using drone strikes along the border.
Ya hear that, Mexicans? Comprende, se??or? Motherfucking drones out this bitch. Hop that fence, catch a missile! BLADDOW!
It appears that the modern conservative politician is, without exception, a moron. I hope this isn't too sweeping a generalisation. Unreconstituted Bolshevik I may be, but I can at least respect a conservative with a proper understanding of politics, even if it's unlikely I'd ever share their perspective.
I mean, it'd be fine if everyone believed illegal immigrants ought to be shot on sight, but that's far from the case. And people like Perry and Bachmann (and their equivalents in the UK like Nadine Dorries) don't seem to realise that they can't will people into accepting that these are good ideas simply by repeatedly espousing them. I guess the walls of your garden-variety conservative think tank are made of rubber these days.

I think more so that it is the modern conservative voter who is the moron...at least the politicians found some way to profit and make a living form their insanity...the conservative voter gets nothing for their worldview and helping to perpetuate it. Unless you are an unborn fetus or a millionaire/billionaire, the Republican party cares nothing about you.

This nut named Michael Savage wrote a book called "Liberalism Is A Mental Disorder".
It was deemed so irrational and offensive that people petitioned his sponsors to drop him and called for him to be kicked off the airwaves.
The UK found him and his claptrap so offensive they banned him from entering their country.
If he had just written a book about how Conservatives were mentally ill it would have been....you know.....the truth.

Well, no, Rock - not necessarily. I'm certainly guilty of generalising now and again, but I like to think of myself as a "by their words/deeds shall ye know them" kind of guy for the most part. That said, I've never read a word of what Michael Savage has written, but I imagine he sings from the same hymn-sheet as many other self-proclaimed scourges of liberalism - y'know, "socialised medical care is a communist plot", "Obama is a Muslamic fascist who's going to throw all the white people into gulags, and *whispers* he isn't even an American!", "education is a Democrat conspiracy to steal your tax dollars", etc., etc. There are lunatics on the other side of the spectrum too, but they tend to limit themselves to the sort of topics that don't have quite the same kind of direct impact on the everyday lives of ordinary citizens - lizard people, 9/11 conspiracies, vaguely (sometimes explicitly) anti-semitic observations about Israel, and things of that nature. Moreover, nobody gives them jobs on network TV/radio where their batshit-crazy views are granted weight and become the topic of serious discussion, at least not as far as I'm able to establish.
In any event, I'm not talking about those conservative commentators who can at least justify talking and acting like yahoos on the grounds that it's a free country and they're nobody's elected representative (yet). I'm talking about people who go into politics purely because they want to pay less tax, or no tax at all. Or because they want schools to teach kids that the planet is 8,000 years old, was created in six days, and was once a place where man and dinosaur lived side by side, just like Jurassic Park, despite there being absolutely no scientific evidence to support this (ah, science - another liberal con-trick). These people think it's politically expedient to talk about dropping bombs on illegal immigrants, presumably because they don't believe saying so will cost them votes.

The UK has banned many people from entering the country. Michael Savage is one of them.
The reason is hate speech.
Hate speech against immigrants and minorities, not liberals.

"Who likes Wet??? people"???
In any case... WTF
Thanks in advance!
EDIT : Found out that Politico.com will be streaming it.
There is a better than zero chance he will come across like a complete babbling idiot that is in way over his head.
If he somehow doesn't, he is the solid frontrunner for the Rep nomination.
The buzz I'm hearing is the Reps who pull the strings feel that a Perry/Rubio ticket would be unbeatable.
I'm sure someone can photoshop in a dildo and a goat so people know what's up..
How can you not cheer for a guy who has executed more people than any other governor, ever?
That's why he want's to be president.

Given his "come into Texas..." talk during the death penalty segment, I'm sure Perry can't wait.
