I agree with some of the more outlandish pieces (Jodhpurs?? Really?!), but I've been scooping up some nice polos, denim and chinos for dirt cheap off of eBay these days. They've been popping up like crazy since his line was liquidated. Regardless of his designs though, holmes personal style is PROPER.
I'll tell you what is not a grown man style: this loose necktie bullshit. I have never seen anyone pull that off convincingly. It's the most contrived trend in years.

I haven't worn a tie in years, but I would definitely loosen mine on particularly busy/stressful days. Not to look "cool," but to breathe easy.
Dudes with real style can pretty much pull anything off IMO.
I don't care if a dude wears a pink tutu with a polka dot socks and a tartan ascot, if he wears it with no shame and his head held high he's a-okay in my book.

nah.
I get the style he was going for with bixby, I really do.
but every piece I've seen from that line is pretty clownish.

Good Call!
Not that I wear ties more than once a twice a year, but if you're gonna wear it, wear the damn thing.
Wish I had a scan handy of my 8th grade school photo from 1985 that has me wearing a loosened sock tie.

Note to self: "Causing others to picture you naked with a tiny bowler hat on your penis is kind of a thread killer."
Self: "Noted."
Jimster: "Actioned."
Its the shoes that make it work.
I'd like to respectfully count myself out of that list for starters.
