Unfortunately we will miss the Jamal Shabazz doc, but a couple of friends are here then and will appreciate the heads up. Will defiantly be checking out the Friends With You exhibitions, thanks.
Go to the Brooklyn Bellhouse tonight for the Dirtbombs feat. Dennis Coffey. Mr. Finewine is dj-ing there as hes friends with the band. I even thought about canceling my own night so I could go but then I didn't and now I'm super pissed that I can't go. Go super early though, the Dirtbombs always sell out in NYC. There's no way you would be able to have a better night anywhere else in the city the entire weekend, week or month for that matter.

My friend Kendra is touring with Dennis, so I'll be there front and center
I hate you!
If you want, come on over to Zebulon on your way home to rub it in how great it was. I'm going to buy you a drink and hope you'll have a big headache in the morning.

My one regret living in Astoria is that it's such a haul to get to Brooklyn. That's an hour plus trip from my apartment.
And out of all the train lines in Queens its only the N that doesn't connect to the G, which would cut at least 20 minutes out of your trip.
When the wife had some friends living in Astoria we would take the train there and cab it home, but its a semi-expensive cab ride. Needless to say we were not frequent visitors.

Actually, it turns out I'm planning to meet a friend from out of town for a beer after he gets out of some film festival in the LES. He's staying in Greenpoint, so I might could head over that way for one. You talmbout coming out after the kids go to bed?
Nah, I was just talking in general. Thanks for the invite, but its been a long day and I went in on Thursday and Friday nights. I'd meet up if you were more local but I can't motivate to get on a train right now.
