In the kaleidoscope of cultures that is Europe, no matter from where you look at it, you're always surrounded by 'the Other'. It takes but a few small steps thence to paranoia, xenophobia, and worse.

The title for the map "Europe seen by the Italians" should be changed to "Europe seen by Northern league Italians". Judging from my Italian colleagues at work, this doesn't seem to be far from the truth.
