I'd like to post more videos, but how can I stop at any less than about 50 of them? So, nevermind...see y'all on youtube.

Damn, all kinds of good shit! Mikah is a fool in that FF Bullies video. RBL Posse, Odd Squad, SCC (wasn't there 2 guys named Prodigy and a guy named Havok in this group? I always got a kick out of that, Mobb Deep-related), Celly Cell, Artifacts, Nine, B.U.M.S., etc.

Although, I gotta say, half of the stuff being listed was not "underground" in terms of what underground was in the mid-90s.

Aceyalone:Mic Check (Gotta love CVE at the start, talk about props due and giving them shine) "Reach 234 the mic 234.."

That's the homies right there. Nice to see them getting some recognition.

[carpetbaggeur]Rap-A-Lot was one of the first labels that started servicing me with promos at the beginning of my career, which was strange but still I was the only dude giving that shit run in Philly. Anyway, when I first heard this record I was floored, shit was so good. Also it was not too long before I got it that I found the John Klemmer record and wondered who was going to sample it before ME hahah... Needless to say I never realized that Rob Quest actually "Couldn't See It" until I saw this video. So fucking ill...[/carpetbaggeur]

Yep, that Odd Squad album doesn't get the credit it deserves for helping craft a rap sound that came to be known as Southern. Glad to hear you were up on it from jump.
