I feel like ramen could have an unfair advantage.

    The closer comparison would be:

    pho vs. Thai boat noodles

    I can't call it.

I used to live a block away from this place, true story.

Unfortunately the Pho King[/b] we had in town (a spot which was formerly Taco Del Mar) closed about a month or two ago, a place that had ads on local radio stations but without ever mentioning their name (the ads were locally done and I guess the announcer on the promo refused to say what was on the script). In newspaper ads though, they did not mind saying that their food was Pho King great.

I never tried the food, but the boba tea was pretty good.

We have a pho king in town.

my female vietnamese co-worker asked me last week "you wanna go pho king?"

    no lie.

I am just back from SE Asia, and I really liked the many varieties of pho in Vietnam. For now, I would prefer Pho because it??s usually more spicy, but I have really good memories of Ramen in Japan as well. It??s really not that much of a difference!
