i'm sure there are parts of michigan that are nice..
Michigan is definitely nice -- I lived there from age 5-21 -- just outside of Detroit.
I've been in the Oakland for four years now and I'm getting pretty tired of it. The other day, it took me 25 minutes to drive three miles. That shit is crazy. Plus kidinquisitive gets all the records
Lunch break today. Still not off work, so these don't qualify for weekend digs.
Keepers / can???t remember if I have ???em / To listen to before deciding to keep or not: Marion Black ??? Listen Black Brother (Prix) Cy Coleman Co-Op ??? What Are Heavy? (London) Bob Francis ??? my connect pulls another 20 boxes out of a (1960s-70s) dj's widow, gives me 1st crack, results of latest madness:
^^never ever thought id see an og "Oar"!
the 45s...
i believe this is zappas 1st ever appearance on record. you can definitely tell its him on guitar, very frenetic and fuzzed soloing all over an otherwise ordinary instrumental surf/rnb type song. definitely ahead of its 1961 time.
treehouse- fantastic epics is slow boiling funk. its on aeiou2 mix
karlophone...you should be opening a record shop soon, no? what that reupert cobet like? i got another one and its very good.
actually theyre both still sealed, will be cracking one open soon. I read somewhere its good stuff, and i knew it had to be raer so i grabbed both copies.
the record shop of my private mind garden is open for mental business only. but actually i will be doing a new round of strut set sale and trades when i get my sh*t together.

I really dig that Crystal grass track
Anything else on the Lp worthy?
the first pic i was like "big deal"
as i scrolled down i was like "holy F*ck"
And hopefully it was "$1"!
If you plan on getting rid of that Dexter Gordon LP...let me know.
those aquarius labels are notorious for falling off.

haha! no it was more like "$30!" which is still kinda nothing for that album.
