    40oz was a high school staple. Saw them and No Doubt open for local ska bands in 92. Can't listen to them much anymore, but still respect their game.

    Seriously? Can someone post the hottest song(or one of them) these guys ever put out? I admit I have only heard a handful, but they were bad..like really really bad..like make you feel awkward/embarrassed when it is playing bad. I must have missed the "good stuff".

    yeah, i was under the impression the "consensus" of soulstrut was they sucked. i myself have no problem with them, but they were overplayed in my earlier partying days. i have no real emotional connection to them or their music.

    Yay???used to love them. They were like the one thing I listened to in HS were I wasn???t concerned with if it was punk/underground enough. On vacation the last 2 weeks this Aug, 40z was all I listened to but had to re-get it from iTunes on the iPhone and no "Get Out" as Track 2 = NAGL...I remember when they re-released 40oz after they initially got big and that alt version they had on there was bad enough.b,121b,121Finally, I was shocked to read how seemingly ridiculous Bradley???s reasons for getting into heroin were RE Wikipedia: b,121b,121???Nowell descended into a two-year heroin "experiment". Nowell claimed that his heroin use was justified, claiming it aided his artistic creativity, thereby increasing the likelihood that his material would attract the attention of a major label.???

    yeah i definitely used to "get down" to their first 2 albums. can't say i have actively listened to them in a loooooooong time, but it couldn't hurt to revisit some of their work. their Decendents cover was pretty damn good, and what was up with that q-ball joint? is there any more of that schitt from some unheard sessions that the trustafarians, and kappa sig's know about but not me?b,121b,121i do cringe whenever i hear those 3 songs they only play on the radio, as i did when they came out.

Still listen on the every now and again tip. The S/T album with that Santeria crap on it was tepid at best. A few good cuts, but the radio choices were horrid.
