    The same sex marriage bit was awful. Biden came out strong and then basically admitted that his was the same position as Palin. I know it's not realistic to expect a statement backing gay marriage, but still... disappointing.

    She's making coherent answers. The bar is so low, as long as she does that, whether she's actually answering the question half the time, will be seen as a plus. She's tryig to be homely as well. Those will go over well with the public. I think Biden is winning right now, but so far, in terms of the actual election, I don't think this debate will change anything. Palin didn't screw up! Victory for McCain!
