Places in the world that have a right to make rap music:

    - New York
    - New Jersey
    - Pennsylvania
    - California

The other rule is, to make rap music, you have to be Black or be a part of a crew that is majority Black. And I mean majority Black, not Latin or mixed. You can have a White producer/DJ/or Label Owner, but that's it. One White dude and that's it. And he can NEVER get on the mic and he has to stand in the backround.

Other places that turn out "Rap" music are making music inspired by the rap music of those locals, but it's inauthentic. If you're not from any of the places above, then the music you're making is derivative, inauthentic, and not rap. That's not to say that it's not art, but it's not rap music. And you can be using the same tools of the trade - a Mic, turntables, a mixer. It doesn't matter though, because you're not from the places listed above. Maybe we could start reffering to this other music by a new term. All of Texas "rap" could be called "screwed" music or something similar so as to avoid confusion. "T-ap" could also work.

can you try to be less corny?

That's like asking if you can regrow your hair without a laser comb. You're coming soft lately dude.

Cornball on soulstrut is part of my swagger, and that's real.
