i dont look into new music too often but this dude is the man. saw him spin at Low End Theory NYC. easily the most animated and pounding set that night. just heard a new three track album thingy he did. it is awesome.anyone?

    there was a 5+ pager which was more negatively slanted against him. It was mainly about his liberal use of large loops.

    I think he's done some cool stuff and he is definitely a good dj. he's a nice guy too.

    I can't wait to get a chance to check out The Low End theory. Heard lots of great things about it.

    My buddy Dj Nobody holds it down too. He's definitely a big influence on me.

    I've been listening to GLK's OBEY mix. Great stuff. Haven't seen him(or Mestizo)in a long time.

    i was definitely not feeling Nobody when he played with them. he was boring and the crowd was dead already. i guess he is dope but he just didn't do it for me that night.

    i think the Obey mix is the Spit On Your Grave.

    the next Low End is May 2nd at Knitting Fac in NYC. unless you live in LA and considering you are saying you haven't seen Mestizo in a minute i assume you do live out West haha

    If you're into psych you need to check out his Spirits of heat and fire mix.

    One of the best psych mixes I've ever listened to.

    I'm still bugging him to send me a copy, and I don't feel like driving out to longbeach to get one.

    Vegas is part of the westcoast, but gas prices have kept me from coming out like I used to.

    his name IS Willow, and yeah dude kills it on the scratch. Good folks too, he used to work at Access in SD with my boy Mada. I'm not feeling some of his production but that's just taste. he's a sick fuckin dj.

    I think he's ill. Been into him for awhile now. Now, I'm not familiar enough with what he samples, but after hearing some of his tracks, I got the vibe that either he can play many different instruments or like what was said above, something about playing samples for a long time.

    "Kobwebs" was dope! Off that From L.A. With Love comp. I've heard a few other tracks, besides the myspace stuff and I thought it was gooood. He is MHE isn't he? Who else is in MHE or is it just him?

    His DJ sets are very dope, very energetic.

    Gaslamp is pure fire! SXSW show was insanity, serioulsy.

    Both of his mixes are top notch dirty raw shit! Highly recommended.
