    all thats missing from this picture is the scrunched-up "solo face"

    you oughta check the video of Boz Scaggs on SNL doing "Lowdown" - the guitar player, Elliott Randall, had solo face something TERRIBLE

    i just finished up the last couple of weeks recording some suck-cess-full metal and "emo" rock bands

    dudes had trouble tuning their instruments,playing on the 1/beat
    and staying "in key"/in tune

    what a sorry phucking mess


    this is a trend that has been going on for awhile now and i realize i am pointing out the obvious

    but gottdamm i think as a culture we are at an all time low

    i had to go home and listen to some coltrane and holdsworth to cleanse out my brain
