Spending Easter weekend in Philly (Friday & Saturday nights). Taking the girl on a nice relaxing getaway in a historic hotel.Need recommendations for:restaurantsdecent club nightsrecord spots[/b]galleriesmuseums (kinda into the idea of spending early Sunday afternoon looking at Thomas Eakins paintings. I recall there's a big permanent collection in Philly. What's the museum?)

I live in philly, so I could give you some advice, except I just moved here three months ago, so I have no idea.

Fluid is pretty cool for a night dancing.
There's a shit ton of great restaurants.

depends what you like for restaurants and clubs
clubwise...hit up the Palmer for a memorable night
a lot of other places, depends on the night
brendan bring'em got a stupid name, but hes a good dude and gets crowds dancing.


the art museum has frida kahlo right now. i need to check that before it breaks down

mudder museum for medical oddities always gets the ladies wet

records stores:
its all about beautiful world syndicate these days.
not the wack west philly location (sigh)
hit up the one on passyunk

i still like record exchange. but its not consistent
but its on south street, so youll find other shit to do too

long in the tooth is decent. but not mad decent


too many good restaurants. narrow it down...where you at and what you lke and what you want to spend
definitely eat saturday lunch at reading terminal
