the stuff that isn't going on ebay
^^so the top right is a pretty standard local jazz workshop, but i was intrigued by
the title "In Search Of Ancient Astronauts". turns out that song's got some
cool stuff in it. after about 90 seconds of not much happening, it gets pretty cool.
West Genessee Jazz Lab "In Search Of Ancient Astronauts"
the osmosis is nice early semi-fusion-ish rca 1970?, the disco thing is by the
pickwick band and i always am intrigued by possible dope cover versions (havent
checked yet), and the star trek 3 is the first ever copy ive seen of it - ive seen
like 1000 of each of the other ones. its cool, it comes with a bonus 12" of the
title theme for some reason.
^^ i am an unabashed pozo-seco fan and finally finding their second album is huge for me.
^^ that jazz abstractions is really cool stuff. minty white label mar-keys!
^^ never ever seen the 1st honey cone before. finally scored the bobo.
this is gotta be ken nordines rarest, ive seen all the others many times but
this was the 1st ive ever seen this one.
^^ audio for the train robbers. its pretty fly for 1977.
Train Robbers - "32 Degree Freeze"
^^ filmstrip packages, each with 2 or 3 LPs. the strips and booklets are still there!
^^ some cool mags and books that turned up. the rock and other 4 letter words is a
companion to the LP on columbia.

haha, thats a weird single record for her to have...
Yeah. She had it sitting out on a table. She paid $15 for it at some point. Weird.
would it be fair to say that 1978 is a really good year for yacht rocking?
Came in the mail yesterday, along with some other goodies, among other things, that new funk version of "The Message". Anyone know who did that?
quite a few of those seems to be somewhat unplayed partly sealed most vinyls in nm condition, looks as if they once belonged to a dj or collector of some sorts.
will do some close up snaps of the 12's laters.
You can find some reviews here:
Gil's Refazenda @ Amazon.com
In this album Gil presents some intimistic (?) songs, due his approach to Oriental philosophy and his macrobiotics diet.
The music has a pop feel to it that doesn't fit very well into Gil's early work.
It's a good album, but not his best and not essential in any way.
Peace
I recently scooped this...and I cosine on the above assesment, the intro to the first song (I cant remember which side however)is next level..shame the entire song isnt on the same level as the intro though...
haha, i have to disagree homey. To me, it is his best album and absolutely essential.
