and so is rudy. edwards will probably donate all his remaining campaign money to charity. rudy, on the other hand...
I couldn't be happier to see Giuliani fail. I cannot stand that motherf*cker.
. I find him to be a slimy, insincere muthafucka (just like Hilary Clinton).

It will not be good for Clinton or Obama if after super Tuesday McCain is the clear front runner on one side and they are still duking it out. On the other hand if McCain and Romney are fighting till September that would be nice.
When I was a kid Convention were all night afairs with vote after vote and nobody knowing who the winner would be until morning. It was very exciting. I'd like to see it again.
The 1968 convention, I was 12. Prauge Spring, the assination of Robert Kenndey*, rioting out side the convention hall and Humphrey, who did not run or campaign in any primary, winning it all. Made an impression on me.
*Yes, I know not all these events happened during the convention, but they were all part of what was going on in a very very big way. At least in my 12 year old mind.
Edwards has made much of his renunciation of his Iraq War vote. But he has not stopped there.
-- As senator, he voted in 2001 for a bankruptcy bill that he now denounces.
-- As senator, he voted for storing nuclear waste in Nevada's Yucca Mountain. Twice. He is now fiercely opposed.
-- As senator, he voted for the Bush-Kennedy No Child Left Behind education reform. He now campaigns against it, promising to have it "radically overhauled."
-- As senator, he voted for the Patriot Act, calling it "a good bill ... and I am pleased to support it." He now attacks it.
-- As senator, he voted to give China normalized trade relations. Need I say? He now campaigns against liberalized trade with China as a sellout of the middle class to the great multinational agents of greed, etc.
all seem legit to me, except his NCLB vote is +/- consistent with his current position.
general info on the bills is on the net ... probably wikipedia
Anyway, the non-endorsement implies he could be holding out for a job offer
