"Damn, how come I never came across this earlier?".Just wondering what LPs or tracks, you guys have bought, downloaded, listened to, or been played for lately, that really just made you think "Wow" and wonder why you had never heard it before basically.For some reason I was tralling through a few old threads and came across someone mention The United States of America "Love Song For Dead Che". I'd never heard of the band or song before but just was intrigued by the name, downloaded it and was really impressed. From what I read afterwards they seem to have been quite well known and I was surprised I'd never heard of them before.Anyone else got any?

I'm listening to Ramblin' Jack Elliott sings songs of Woody Guthrie and Jimmie Rodgers (Monitor 1960(?)) right now for the first time. I should have listened to it sooner. It's lovely. I got it over christmas at the spot in Eugene with the free shipping.


You might be able to listen to it on this French rockabilly dude's blog (or maybe he's canadian with the bilingual steez).
