its an instrumental, can't even post it cuz its a stream file
all its says is james brown "do it" off the funk45dotcom website.
Phil Lehman posted that. He probably recorded it himself.

hope that works.
I'll bet it's some Phil Lehman hi-jinx.

Now that I take the time to actually look, I have that song on the Funky Kingston v. 2 comp (referred to as Soul Power on that site). It did seem vaguely familiar.
Make it ... Make it ... Make it one
Make it ... Make it ... Make it two
thanks for the

It's actually James Booms[/b]
isn't the version on the soulfire compilation all instrumental?
the jamaican/uk released tune (on ACKEE) has definitely some vocals/shouting/grunts/whatever on it...
the flip "i like the way you walk" on the ACKEE label has vocals, it's a reggae soul tune!
the "version" on the soulfire/pure comp has no horns & really sounds somehow new!
also it is half a minute longer... anyway, imo both versions are great in their own way
