Goddamn I have picked up some good stuff recently! The Casablanca compilation up the top has the Gloria Scott trackThe Underdogs LP is the best thing I have ever heard out of New Zealand next to Dr Tree.Eleanor Rigby LP is one of those japanese JVC LPs with really nice drums on almost every track. Can't believe it took my this long to cop Hell's Belles, and that break track is dope.Oh, and the Motown 12" down the bottom is an original UK promo copy of Diana Ross's 'Love hangover' in its extended version. Not a bad track but it's up for trade.

Very nice mang, very nice. So did you cop all those locally?
The Hells belles was not a local dig.
That is all.
LPs -
Lee Oskar, Before the Rain, for the nice grooves of 'feeling happy' and 'haunted house'
Joe Thomas - Make Your Move, for the disco groove of 'sugar smack'
Father Richard Ho Lung - Brother Soul. This is a jamaican religious LP put out by Jesuits, which has some nice grooves that are often spoiled by unfortunate singing. There is a nice long gospel breakdown though:
The Lord Is My Shepherd (1.25 MB)
Bobby Blossom and the Montego Bay Street People - Montego Bay. Ray-gay music on Canada's Arc label. Mostly forgettable, but for whatever reason I like the song 'montego bay' sing out! whoa-o-a-o-a-o-a-whoa-whoa-whoa
45s (from soulstrut's own Marco, who definitly comes correct with the trading)
Bobby Rush - Chicken Heads / Mary Jane (Galaxy)
Betty Wright - Sweet Lovin Daddy (Alston)
Ike and Tina Turner - Bold Soul Sister (Blue Thumb)
The Sharpees - Do the 45! (one-derful)
Little Royal - Razor Blade (Tri-US)
Joe Tex - You're Going to thank me woman (Dial)
this is the SUMMER JAM.
Dennis Coffy - Electric Coffey
David Ruffin - Me & Rock 'n' Roll Is Here To Stay
5 Stairsetps & Cubie - Our Family Portrait
Smokey Robinson & The Miracles - The Tears Of A Clown
Art Blakey & The Jazz Messangers - Free For All
Jimmy & The Vagabonds - New Religion
Classic.
Leon Spencer - Sneak Preview (prestige)
David Axelrod - Songs of Experience (capitol)
and the Pamoja reish 45
Nice find, Rey.
which side do you prefer; the sal or the soul?
I was a little dissapointed Joe wasn't rockin' it on side b.
That Dave Porter (top left) is some ill canadian(?) private press rock raer. 1 Known Copy exists. Beyond pokora. King Eric & His Knights is Calypso/Soul. The Ronnie Foster is decent.
I also won Willie Colon - El Malo.
saying.
I was kinda joking, but, yeah, that's a 2000 dollar record that lives up to the price tag. Don't sleep!!!
"I'm The Boss"
