any of you fools remember this shit?

that ice trick with the string and salt was so next level when i was like 7. crazy part was mr wizards grandson lived down the street from me in NJ and i met the wizard twice.

    Fuck yeah dude!! I was just talking about Mr Wizard the other day with a few people at work!!

    He had that badass robot that would obey voice commands and bring him drinks!

    I've got a whole VHS tape filled with episodes of this and Reading Rainbow. Loved this show so much.

    I remember when I used to wake up at 6am after the Nick At Night run (F Troop, then Lassie then infomercials...) to catch Mr. Wizard. He taught me how to balance a salt shaker on it's end.

    Nickelodean used to be so raw. Early days of cable were a crazy place with low budgets. Pinwheel? Double dare?
