Yeah the Shinehead 12" has a flip which uses the same rhythm but he sings Junior's "Mama Used To Say" over it. Killer record... it sells out every time no matter how many copies I turn up.

Since we are a dozen posts into a soulstrut genre thread, it's probably bout time to totally derail it with tenuous suggestions like lists of non soul cover reggae tracks, or even non-reggae soul covers like this Jackie Wilson Calypso.
Now that that's out of the way, can any reggae heads identify this lay lady lay cover? Someone posted it here and I'd really like to find out who did it originally.

Back in the day, that qualified as a true reggae terd (so I don't have it). But I ain't hatin', maybe it sounds better in '07.
