This stuff doesn't turn up often here so excuse me if this is little dudeness. What is this group like? There is a 12" of them on our local NZ auction site but they aren't on any of my Sugarhill compilations. Worthwhile as far as Sugarhill goes (it's local RCA press)? Or pass? What would you expect to pay?

It's Sylvia Robinson's son, if memory serves me correctly - mostly instrumental that heavily appropriates 'Apache' w/ a vocoder-like voice utterin' 'breakdance, electric boogie'... Had the original 12" at 1 time, but unlike my Cutmaster DC ('Brooklyn's in the House'), long gone...
I think this 12" is great. Great party track. Worthwhile buy.
Hell yeah! Its a definite dancefloor classic. And it was used in a candy commercial! remember that shit wherethe candy is falling on colorful breakdancers? weeeeee!
