    this has got to be one of my favorite radio spots in the last 3 years. they played it alot on KNBR before the de la hoya fight and cinco de mayo.

    we got that oaxaca cheese for our tacos too!

    what is it about the spot that you find so horrible?

    The "si mejo" part.

    I don't like it because it sounds like they got the whitest dudes ever to write dialogue for the radio actors and they use the most stereotypical Hispanic accents and themes ever.

    I'm far from a PC or real sensitive cat but this shit is an affrontery. Can't believe they play it on the radio in Austin, TX.

    But fuck it. Every ad anymore seems to conjure some fantasy world that I can't believe any human being lives in but maybe I'm wrong and this one just hits my ear wrong.

    But really, I don't find it offensive at all. Actually it's the most authentic ad i've heard in regards to "latino" products being marketed towards non-latinos (that's not saying much).

    It's not like that fuckin PSP ads where they had those little dirt/dust balls speaking in the most stereotypical accents ever. that girl would approve.

    Actually, I thought it was hilarious. (your idea, not the ad)

    The ad actually isn't so bad compared to that god damn state farm insurance where there is a construction worker, a line chef and a maid who save "ehh few hoendread dollurs wit estate farrm"

    Then again, sometimes we have no one to blame but ourselves (yes my dad put a shitload of stickers on his van.)
