I'm going to Tokyo in the end of this week and was kind of hoping that someone here got some tips on good clubs in the area. Some good DJs spinning some nice soul, funk, groove and/or hip hop. It's my first trip over there so any kind of help is appreciated. Thanks!

Will try to look up these stores. I guess it'll be a hassle, but i might be worth it.
That said some of my best nights in recent years are the ones in real small clubs (more like basements) with shitty photo copied flyers and no big names. These nights usualy have a real underground crowd and often zero gaijins.

I've had some of the best nights of my life in that joint.
Trivia: Air was used for the filing of the club scene in Lost In Translation.
Very nice and intimate hip-hop club.

I had an unreal night in there once.
I'm honestly not jokeing when I say the place was full (maybe too full) and there were only 3-4 other guys in the place! I know this sound like an exageration but I promise its not.
It was a Kick The Can Crew gig, I'd not heard of them and only rolled up randomly, saw it was advertised as hip hop, saw like 150+ honeys and thought I'm not missing this.
