I just got this new computer and i'm trying to install a second video card (pci) so i can set up my dual monitors. i'm running windows xp home. my new video card is a nvidia geforce 7300 LE which does support multiple-monitor configuration. the old pci video card i'm installing is a nvidia tnt2 or something, but it worked fine with my other computer as a dual video card. anyhow, the problem i am having is that everytime i put the pci video card into my machine, it ignores the video card that came with the computer (the 7300 le) and only recognizes the old pci one. anybody have a clue about why this is happening?

maybe I'm wrong, but can't you use 2 monitors with just the 7300 LE? One DVI out and one VGA out, right?

ahh yes!! thanks, i didn't realize the other port was a dvi and i also didnt realize they sent me a dvi cable with the new monitor, so i have the new one in the dvi and the old one in the vga and it works now. thanks for the info!
