Let's journey further into the land of Gentle. Matter of fact, let's go into the land of Gentle Love. No loner stoner business. I want to hear about those songs that make all you tough guys think about your girlfriend/wife/lost love/high school crush/etc. If you've got an "our song", let's hear about it. Ladies too, of course.Me and my girlfriend don't have a special song yet. But there is one song that always makes me want to hold her real tight and dance sloooow. And it's not some obscure piece of sweet soul or private femme folk.Fuckin' Prince - "The Beautiful Ones". Kills me everytime. All mushy-like. There are plenty others, but that's one of the biggies for me.Bring the musch.

william bell - forgot to be your lover
any winehouse - love is a losing game
not sure if they make me want to hold someone tight but they sure as hell make me reflect on someone i held or wanted to hold tight.
actually most of back to black by amy makes me feel this in one way or another.
- John Lennon "oh yoko"
- the esquires "girls in the city"
On the opposite tip, RJD2's "here's whats left" puts me in a somber contemplative mood every time.

The intro makes me tinlgy. I always think of me and a special cute lill thing standing in the snow when I hear this.
Absolutely, particularly For You. Also, a large number of Al Green songs as that was the soundtrack to the wooing of my girlfriend, particularly Wish You Were Here. Add Aht Uh Mi Hed to that list as well.
I also keep on trying to convince her that Booty's I'd Rather Be With You should be our first dance song at the wedding but she's not convinced.
