It's nice to see another one of soulstrut's finest getting some shine. I was hoping they would profile Motown67's top secret eBay high bid history, so we could all experience the wrath of the math! But some secrets need to stay that way.

    Congratulations,

So Joel - here's the real question:

HOw did you hand-select which albums should get the "display" treatment?

I just grabbed whatever I could think of off the top of my head. James Brown related LPs was my first thought, and then I just pulled whatever else came up. I changed them a couple times as well. Some were too shinny and had to be changed, etc.

From the picture they picked (did I mention I hate that freaking pic!) I see James Brown - Cold Sweat, Betty Davs - ST, Brentford All-Stars - Greedy G 12", Funkadelic - ST, Lyn Collins - Think, Al Green - Let's Stay Together, Parliament - Osmium, Hank Ballad - You Can't Keep A Good Man Down, and Gordon Staples - Strung Out.

I think if soulman wanted it he could get it himself.

Yeah, didn't Phil say he's gotten offers of the like but turned em down?

And more importantly, you're basically saying that *me* writing for the mag isn't sufficient for you to slap down that subscription dolo.
