it's so funny (not funny ha-ha, funny amusing) seeing young cratediggers in their early 20's buying the same vintage soul 45's that i bought for 50 cents at Wax Trax Records in Chicago (R.I.P.) back there in the eighties (I think it's a rite of passage for all soul fans to have a copy of "Nothing Takes The Place Of You" b/w "Shimmy" by Toussaint McCall, as well as "Twine Time" b/w "The Bump" by Alvin Cash & the Crawlers...seems like everybody scored these singles real cheap, early in the game)
