naw, he didn't...another friend brought a copy before R*d got there. I got it for a more reasonable price than what it will probably fetch on the open market.
wonder how many of those there are around.....

Well, I know Re*d didn't have a TON of them - just a few ... I could have bought one for a very reasonable price, but it would have just been a piece of trade bait for me, not really my thing, and I figured let somebody who REALLY wants it get one. I already sold/traded all my copies of Evans Pyramid...kinda wish I had held onto one.
funny...he claimed he only had one copy, which was . trying to push it on me for $200. so, instead...he got scourge to trade him $200 worth in lps. before you can ask for that amount of $ there needs to be some sort of deman imo. $50 sounds about right.

That may have been his last one - he was down to one or two, and was a little bitter when he found out what it was going for.
$200 is retarded, tho - especially with all the cheese you've dropped in his store...
maybe salty after i turned his 50 cent evans pyramids in thousands. we do have a good repor tho. he keeps draggin his feet on this 1 45, which nobody really knows...7 years later he still has yet to track it.
Okay, I've had this garage-punk staple for a long, long time so I should be used to it by now...but I was just playing this single and it laid me out so bad I had to play that joker twice in a row! Arthur Lee (of Love) was pissed that Sean Bonniwell (from the Music Machine) ripped off his vocal style on this song, but hey, it worked..."Talktalk! Talktalk! Talktalk! Talktalk!"[/b]

love it !!! tribute to tenor saw !!!
one of the best roots lps out there, bar none.
this record has been kicking my ass for some time
I even have the wife (not a huge jazz head) loving this one.
What kind of a creampuff has his azz kicked by a recording from the cast of "Guys & Dolls"?
If I ever fall below having 2 clean copies of this as back ups I get all cold sweaty and nervous. On permanent rotation.
One of my favorite LPs of all time. I'm gonna put it on now.
I dug out this again the other day and had forgotten how good it was, gave me a proper nostalgia trip.
yuuuuus!

B side aka "Predominantly Funk Version"
I just found the D-Roy press too after finding the taxi one a week earlier and being mad it's so noisy. The D-Roy one plays just fine.

Love the sound of the bass on this record, absolutely killing it. I can't wait to listen to this after work.

I don't know how I missed this one. I dig it. Songs for the deaf is the shit and this one's pretty good too.
