this is all the shit im sampling at the moment.
this is the reciving pile that i go thru and listen then put in storage or throw it in my sampling rack.
this is where i work most of the day.

Nord Modular G2, Doepfer modular, MPC1000, Metric Halo 2882, Galanti suitcase vibes, a little Allen & Heath desk, a rack of old analog delays / EQs, my old E6400, Rhodes suitcase 88...
All my stuff is in storage now, I'm moving to Hawaii for 2k7 and all I'm bringing is a Saffire and some mics.
Actually the berimbau is coming with me too...
I always wanted one of these babies. Or just some other modular system. I dream of being in the pic that crink posted.
Now we have the mic room (Neumann baby), the external devices and channel strips,preamps, the blue tube line, and more. The only thing that pics are not showing is a few synthetizers such as Triton, Motifs, and also another G5 station dedicated to Gigastudio's VSL and such.

i met greg hawkes once at a practice studio in 1993, his minikorg was set up. He showed how he made all the sweet Cars sounds with it, ("just what i needed" etc). from that moment i was determined to find that exact synth. I spied mine in SF's black market music (r.i.p.?) in '96 and instantly payed the man $275. that, my juno-6 and more recently added moog voyager (goodbye bank account), provide just about all the tones im looking for. though the lack of polyphony is sometimes annoying.
