I found this video (second video down on the linked page), which features John Cage and Rashaan Roland Kirk to be excellent. Especially the part in the middle with Kirk playing flute with animals at the Paris Zoo with a little kid on his shoulders. Check it:http://www.ubu.com/film/cage.htmlRelated discussion topics:Rashaan Roland Kirk is awesome. What are his best records to look for?ubu.com is the shit. I love this website. For me it's the ying to youtubes yang.

This was posted up awhile back. Cool video clip, I like when he plays the horn with his nose.

  • Oh well...

I did a search for the whole past year for "Raashan", and came up with nothing, but I should have known something this cool wouldn't slide by the strut.

  • I pretty much pick up any rashan records, they're all at least interesting.

John Cage actually composed a beautiful piece of music. Its just called "string quartet". Nothing very experimental about it, just beautiful melodies and harmonies.

    Groovy CLIP!
