whats your favorite Misfits songs?i like halloween, last caress, cough cool, pretty much everything they did in the early 80's. then danzig's first solo album was a childhood classic for me. break on come back is raw.

I just got into them - late pass!
But really I celebrate their entire catalog.
Used to be in one of those 2 min song punk bands so we did about 6-8 Misfits songs per show just so we could play for 40 minutes. One time we did a festival full of punks (Eargasim in Lawrence KS if you've heard of it) and all the other bands were hippy dippy shit so people lost their minds when we came on. One house party we did resulted in foot prints on the ceiling!
Reminded me.....we were playing a show in a bar and the cops came though doing their nightly walk through right as we started playing Skulls. So our lead singer followed the cops around making sure they got all the lyrics.

SUCH a shame that most of their catalog was recorded so poorly. Some amazing songwriting and singing, that was not well documented.
the misfits collection I and II cd's are really great compilations and definitely worth picking up if you havent already.
