That is also an acceptable instrument.

"Iron Man" is also the correct answer as well.

  • I learned "China Grove" first so you have to admit that ain't bad.

I kinda learned "You Really Got Me" but I usually
just made lots of feedback and pressed the guitar against
the amp while working the whammy bar.

These are all fine examples. My first multi chord song was "Ziggy Stardust" which isn't that bad at all. I'm still trying to learn "Eruption."

Van Halen stuff is actually not hard at all.

George Benson on the other hand.

But if you're like me, you just played the tune on the E-string. When you learn to play it as double stops on the D and G string, lemme tellya Smoke On The Water comes alive in your hands:

NEXT LEVEL POST ACTION RIGHT HERE, FOLKS.

  • the first thing I learned was "I wanna be your dog"

then again I didnt learn to play until I was 20. I suppose if I started when I was 12 like most folks, it woulda been "smoke on the water" or maybe an AC/DC tune.

And now, for the born-and-raised-in-Texas version:

If LA GRANGE wasn't the first thing you learned to play on your guitar then you ain't shit.
