Many times in the past, disputes within the Hip-Hop community are either settled with fists or bullets. Rhymefest is changing the pace by having a discussion?!In the U.K., Conservative party leader David Cameron has targeted Hip-Hop as the main catalyst in the recent rise of gun crime in Britain. In typically witty fashion, Fest wrote to the MP stating "my challenge is to ask that you sit down and have a cup of tea with me". Fest has also said that if Cameron's views remain the same then they should have an open discussion with more rappers, DJ's, politicians and MP's! MTV and BBC are set cover this potentially monumental moment and let's hope that they are fair and impartial in their coverage.Rhymefest is due at The House Of Commons on Thursday October 19th 2006.
