I'm don't lament for what that "song" could be, nah!
I'm trying to show you how is build this kind of product.
And, by doing this, I'm trying to show you how weak it is, that's all.

And to close the "discussion", I think having your attitude is way to easy.
I mean, you take what the industry gives you and live with it...
    You're a clown.

If I could decipher this I might be offended.

    DISTURBED I'd say.

  • As an elder of this game, I gotta say this is heat.
At least she's rocking authentic joints and not going the Mary "My Life" route.

    Feeling this like

Yeah, Rich is retreading a formula out but fuck it, I'm not tired of it yet.

Sounds better than "Deja Vu" that's for sure.

I tell ya, i don't think B's album is the hot mess that people are making it out to be. A lot of the stuff early on the cd are SMOKIN' imho. You gotta take in consideration that this is a Beyonce album and I guess she wrote all or most of the songs- Beyonce is not the deepest chick on the planet lyrically but there's some damn good party music on there. "Freakum Dress" is not gonna impress you with it's lyrical content, but nobody should expect a song with a title like that to be anything other than some freak-off in the clurb schitt at best.
Now, some of those slower songs later on the cd...

A lot of people seem to not be lovin' "Ring The Alarm" but that's my schitt!!!

and yo it's all about the "Ring the Alarm" remix.

I'm kind feelin' that one Beyonce where's it over moody-type loopz.

You know, I was thinking that SAME SHIT when I watched it. I guess it was the time that Day forgot cause I don't remember ever seeing either of those videos. Ahhhh we were so innocent then...

Enjoy the track for what it is, don't lament for what it could be.

Is it an advice or something like that?

    Here's my answer.

Dude, PERSONALLY , I was on the boards reading some posts and saw Phill's one.

He asked a question, as I'm part of the Strutters, I thought I'd answer and give my point of view, ok?

I'm don't lament for what that "song" could be, nah!

    PASUE

DAYUM!! Fall back little dude. If you so hot, why didnt you hook it up? And write a song to it, and sell it to the bitch yourself!

Listen, I'm trying to show you how is build this kind of product!

You slipping on your hustle dog!

    Easy, Besides, chill out, man...

So it seems that you take the "you're a clown" for you too? It's yours.

What's the problem, right here? Did I say I'd make a better beat? Nah.

Just re-read my messages... and if you don't understand, holla.

And, tell me, why do you systematically compare people, can't we just be different?

    Think about it twice, later.

    What's that smell....patchouli?
    No, hmmm.
    Oh!
    It???s salty bedroom producer!
    That's it!

Enjoy the track for what it is, don't lament for what it could be.

seriously. This isn't directed at say Catalist but there's a lot of uptight salty-as-fuck BLAZING DOWNTEMPO producers on here that just love to tear shit down when it comes to stuff like this. You type of dudes need to listen to this shit with who made it and who it's intended for in mind.

Well although it "wasn't directed at say Catalist" , I'd like to mention that I am neither uptight, salty-as-fuck , or a 'blazing downtempo' bedroom producer. Obviously those comments were directed at some entirely different individuals. I'm sure anything else I say will tack on an extra 2 pages to the thread so I'll leave it at that. I'll get back to you when I lace a track for Beyonce.

    I coppped last night.
    8.0

    Freakuum Dress........

The album first 7 joints are very good club/radio joints.
She's sings a joint over the Curtis Mayfield THINK instramental... Its an almost....the first minute I was open then it becomes too "singerish".
Overall, its better than the last album.
The "funk45" song Ill take over Cassie anyday.

Her bonus track was a song she wrote for the DREAMGIRLS project...

I think Beyonce sings too much.

Also that Creole song is so bad.

    Don Julio Mindswipes?

    lol cosign

I dunno, I like some of her older joints but her newer vocal stylings are sounding literally 'crazy'. At first I thought she wuz wearing a straightjacket in the beginnng of that video a la Benatar...

Soley on the basis of her completely crazy-eyed video and the above cover shot, I predict Beyonce to be the next celebrity meltdown a la Whitney. You read it here first!

  • haha!

Yeah me and my wife have been joking about that since hearing the scattered/over the top vox delivery on the Deja Vu single (which theme rings quite different than "Independent Woman" btw). But hey, I'm a casual follower at best.

  • I dunno, I like some of her older joints
