So, I'm not exactly the hippest cat to what's new in rap, but I still can't believe it took...me...so...long to hear this album... I feel straight embarassed rocking it at this point!!!

Anyway, what's been on hefty playback this week for ya'll, rap-wise?

non stop since it dropped
Not as good as Sin-a-maitic, but still a rather nice LP.
I'm still sleeping on this one. What are the key tracks on this joint? When was it released?
Key tracks:
Swang (but note that the album version is different than either of the 2 versions on the 12")
No Help with Z-Ro (Z-Ro is the best lyricist in hip-hop, bar none.)
Real Talk
Pop Trunk Wave
Cadillac (I really like Paul Wall on this but not really Three 6)
Quit Calling Me (Trae doing the dark singing thang...awesome!!!)
So Gangsta with Bun B
Screw Done Already Warned Me with Lil Keke
In the Hood with Young Joc (yep, I like this one too)
Seriously, this album is tight from start to finish. The only thing on it that makes me cringe is Jim fuckin Jones on Coming Around the Corner.
It came out 3 weeks ago.
Real Talk, Cadillac, Swang, Screw Done Already Warned Me, Restless, Pop Trunk Wave........ It's one of those raers in modern rap where there's near to no poor filler tracks.
This album's quality makes me very happy.
Edit: Beaten by Harvey but wot he says.
i'm so sinsurrrrr. that's what my playlist looks like.
I actually hadn't listened to this album in over a year--hearing it with relatively fresh ears is to be reminded just how fucking good it is pretty much front to back.
he doesn't dress to young Simon's liking
I think the hoodie looks wack. Nike outlet anyone?
I thnk someone is just a little embarrassed at where he takes his fashion cues from.
i think that's a fly shirt.
that cover is fucking ridiculous. the end.
back to not saying shit.
