really? out of everything that has been done on stonesthrow this is one of the few that didn't hit me, a few tracks are hot but... different strokes for different folks
i have been listening to miles davis: dark magus lately, the second cut on that album has a groove that will melt glaciers
Psych/folk double LP on verve forecast. Dreamy vocals from a japanese dude through phase shifter, hard panned drums, organ and guitars. I'm not a big rock head so I'll let somebody else draw a comparison.
Yes, yes, classic, but man "I am the Walrus" was Lennon at his utmost creative peak. This shit's been like candy for me for the past 4 days, picked up a nice clean copy for a buck.
When I first heard this in 1987 or 88 I listened to it nonstop for weeks. Recently found an OG on vinyl and did the same all over again. 'Long Flowing Robe' is the best song ever about the eternal promise of a Friday night. Just an amazing record.
Chrisma "Hibernation" I recently found their LP "chinese restaurant" and dug the shit outta it...then I realized that the band name sounded familar, so I dug in this crate of shit I have that I dont listen to and sure enough found the album pictured above...good shit...synth pop gone horribly wrong with lots of aggressive guitars, rill nice.

Second LP is two side-long tracks that are harder/more burnt/stoner vibe with horns and babbling in japanese.

Big Stacks from Kakalak
sitting in my office for over a year that i kept forgetting to take home.
this scratched me right where i was itching last night
I just found this LP in a used store in New Orleans. As Emmit's albums are getting progresively harder to find, I'm looking forward to hearing it.
can I turn in a very late pass for zshared tracks of either or both of these?
