I'd have to say Ultra but if you said Ultra #1 vs. JB's #2... that might be a little different...
Yea, sorry I'm not trying to hijack/alter the thread. I think it's pretty clear no one is disrespecting JB's by picking Ultra. Sraight Out... is excellant, but Done...is the one that blows away people who have different musical tastes. At the time Straight was senting the trend for the whole Native Tounge thing no doubt. But the sampling and rapping on Critical is just so dense and complex it's crazy. Paul C and Kool Keith??? Hands down!

I like JB#2 but I think they left out the street feel of #1 trying to match up with the other natives( DLSoul and AtCQ)who were gaining more attention. A lot of cats got introduced to the native sound through De la or Tribe due to their videos. Straight out the Jungle didnt get heavy burn on MTV. JB#1 was an underground album.
