    I kinda fucked up this past semester and didn't really create anything I'm really feeling, definitely improved my design skills but I'll save all my boring layouts and other design (paper swatchbook designs, not too exciting) for the portfolio and opt instead to show some stuff from my fall semester.

    coney island project for illustration class:




    new yorker cover for the recent mayor elections in NYC (for those who don't live in NYC, Anthony Weiner was running for mayor but eventually pulled out, and yeah it's not exactly new yorker steez)


    Ah this is pretty depressing realizing that the rest of my output this year has been subpar, looking forward to doing some personal projects this summer though. I'll try to post my contemporary bible design (and the 80s gospel lp cover I ripped off for it). For now I've gotta get back to studying for two finals tomorrow.

    those are great! what do you use to draw before they get scanned?

    Black pencil and ink on white paper. I scan this material and then color it on photoshop... Also a good selection of african records has been necessary before I start!
