Or a Year. Read the discussions posted for this interesting article (found as a link at the bottom of the page) about slaves building the Capitol Building in Washington DC:http://news.yahoo.com/s/usatoday/20060228/ts_usatoday/memorialeyedforslaveswhohelpedbuildcapitolIt not only disturbs me on many different levels that there are people like this out there, but the fact that they dominate a discussion about a serious and interesting article?

Doesn't surprise me. Just keep in mind that these type of people probably start shit on any forum they can.

That's the Yahoo! message boards for you. Some of the trolling for the headlines can be funny in an obnoxious and outlandish way and some can be just wrong. That's internet anonymity for you. The board has it's own lingo, catchphrases and diction similar to soulstrut. It's quite intriguing...

    I'm shaking _________ in anger!
beento5_________ (user name parodies of someone named 'beento5continents')
"Shoot U.S. cops in temples! in mouths!" (some guy named 'president's advisor' who makes the same odd-sounding post day in and day out, encouraging violence against police officers who attend religious services)
"I just jerked off in a liberal's salad"
"I am a Marine Core (sic) soldier!"
"Ready for the return of Jesus Christ?" / "Think you don't need Jesus Christ?"
"I just reported you!" (conservative posters would often be quick to interpret shit talking against Bush as threatening his life and would say they're handing over the post to the FBI (actually, to Yahoo, who would at worst, delete the person's ID)
