Kraftwerk vs Tangerine Dream

Due to the popularity of my "Deuter vs Kitaro" and "Andreas Wollenweider vs Jean Luc Ponty" posts, I thought Id exdent the format.AS much as I love kraftwerk, Im leaning towards tangerine dream. Edgar Froese's solo stuff is reason enough for me.

    hmmm... if we are talking GOOD TD vs GOOD kraftwerk that is tough. I'd say that Kraftwerk kept it real longer than TD though.

    harsh! froese does have some klunkers in there, but... Im not denying kraftwerk their eminence.

    Tangerine Dream gets points in my book for the (fuck yeah it's cheesy) soundtrack work they did for M. Mann.

    Tangerine Dream beats out Kraftwerk in my book. Kraftwerk can't fuck with Alpha Centauri. Not really a fair comparison though.
