Microphone Mike wrote the lyrics of Scream on NWA & The Posse in 1987.OK, Rappinstine is not exactly Ice Cube, but still, that should be mentioned in the first line of Freestyle Fellowship's biog ! Anyway, for those who want to imagine them as a bunch of bohemians disconnected from the gangsta rap scene here's the link : http://www.allhiphop.com/features/?ID=1332

Not you, obviously. Thanks for the link. The unedited interview contains this gem of a "question:" "Some people feel that right now you might be the best out there doing it."

Anyway, it's pretty cool that he's putting his new album out there for free.

    Disconnected.

(Sorry but I couldn't help myself on this one).

  • At least he sounds like a dude.
Wasn't your typical bullshit cliched filled rap interview. Down to earth & a genuine love for his art.
    Refreshing. Good on him.
    PB haters, where you at?

Yeah it's weird, that guy is too modest to brag about stuff like that. My wife has known him for 15 years, and when she read the interview she was like 'what ?!...'

Notice too that Mykah clarifies the Bone situation as well...with an established history of going to Mykah for ghostwritten verses, Eazy brings Bone to the Good Life in order to have them study Mykah's music at length.

    Yep.

    Yep.

All according to a single Mykah interview and some leaps in logic. Great research, Archie.

I seriously don't, I just wanna see how far you can take this. I really want you to come up with how PB is responsible for west coast jheri-gangsta rap. It's like watching snail porn. Who cares about what's going on, but you might not see something as trivial in a long time.

You argue way too hard against anybody saying anything positive or truthful about Project Blowed to resemble anything remotely close to "not caring".

Obviously you are on a crusade of stupidity and ignorance, and the subject of Project Blowed is easily able to pull your all-too-predictable strings like a puppet.

    Dude, is you serious?!!!

    Here's a concept:

PB only exists in their own little bubble and outside of that, they're completely and utterly insignificant.

I do! Every one of my records means something! The label, the producer, the year it was made. Who was copying whose style... who's expanding on that, don't you understand? When I listen to my records they take me back to certain points in my life, OK? Just don't touch my records, ever! You! The first time I met you? Soulstrut message boards two weeks ago, right? 2006. And Heavyweights Round 2 was playing when I logged on!

    thats saying a lot.

DG what are your feelings on the holocaust.

BTW I'm pretty sad that an asshole like Mikah 9 actually did some music I like. But I can comfort myself by thinking I probably wouldn't have liked it as much if he actually rapped those lyrics.
