Just saying that the Finnish label Timmion's move from their former dark funk instrumentals to their new classy Northern soul sounds is a breath of fresh air.All that needs to happen now in the contemporary funk scene is for one of these purveyors to find a stone falsetto-led vocal group and smiles will abound.Check out the Nicole Willis LP if you haven't done so yet.     "If this ain't love" gets constant rotation...folks are supernice people, chilled one evening with them some years ago. Didier is a master of analogue recording, love all their stuff...that nite club 45 was also

    Must go to finland one day.....

    yeah, that is an awesome record, one of the best new funk records that is out there...some copies might be left in the uk at some online stores like therecordroom or the like...jukka on the drums is just raw!!!
