Easy listening that would make Dizzy Bull drool! Its on the Borinquen label which is somewhat big, but this is a record that is seldom seen. Agustin Alguero was a Spanish soundtrack composer and this is his solo effort. Think drunk spanish Austin Powers.
...and Scott High School is mad known. It's almost as popular as Kashmere Stage Band. iDOX even lives around the corner from the school. He shoulda been running that shit.
yous a liah, like jeremiah. i would never compare it to Kashmere, but its cool

I know that I often downright lie about records to compensate for something missing in my life, but Scott HS has heat. They're also featured on the 2nd Schoolhouse Funk comp.
damn, im bout to throw this junt on ebizzle. thanks again for the info. i was not in the know on the status of scott high school. you got any of there other records?

I don't actually have records. I just know a little about a few. But I wouldn't mind some goods from Scott between 71 and 73.

breakself pulled those out of the dollar bin at the graveyard, they had probably been sitting overlooked for years.

so jealous.
funky in kindof a clutzy way.
I'm surprised you guys haven't kicked Aaron out of Detroit yet. He's nothing but bad news. Scary amount of knowledge, and a hyper-fiendish hustle for only being in the record game for 2.875 years.
that john koerner/willie and the bees record is more along the lines of folk/blues rock, i believe the notes say there were 1,000 pressed, i don't see them too often, that gathering at the depot is more common, usually see it for around $30 in the shops, though i'm not really into rock both lp's are pretty decent

"silly song" is actually sing a simple song..same lyrics too, i have no idea why they renamed it.
Well, the Litter was a Minneapolis garage psych combo, and the Depot was the old Greyhound Bus Depot before it was a nightclub, it later became Uncle Sam's, then turned into the spot that birthed Prince(and that I worked at in the 90s), First Avenue.

I got a kick out of it. It's all about the vocal delivery.

Fairly common LP in the rock world.....funny typo on the Litter song which is listed as "Ungrateful Peg" instead of "Ungrateful Pig"
i've never been able to get any solid info on this.
anyone?
That's the one......I'm done
What's the deal with this one..?
I can't find infos on the net about this particular rec.
Polish Avant-Garde Music - SXL 0613 - Muza - Made in Poland
The MW2 orchestra seems to be well known... dunno.
The LP will be up soon for the REAL HEADZ.
B.
Real people modern soul from '88 (sounds more like '82)
with inept but charming and occassionaly hypnotic rhythm/synth section.
Vocal dude sounds almost reminiscent of Police-era sting on the
first cut "Outer Groove"...weird, but great.
I have a record on the same label. Called Super Love or something..
nothing good
pretty cool rock record with some Xian overtones. has covers of Let it Be, Turn, Turn, Turn, etc. the track for me is Gospel Drum. groovy instrumental with nice drumming and dope wordless vocals at the end. closest thing ive seen tot he album anywhere else http://cgi.ebay.com/MEMPHIS-BREAK-BEATS-BILLY-BLACKWOOD-GOSPEL-DRUMS-MOD_W0QQitemZ4809505971QQcategoryZ306QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
cool private late 70's rock record. not great, but an ok listen
