Money Boss Players "Ghetto Chronicle Daily" LP / Fat Pat "Tops Drop" 12"I know very well there's no 'right' price for this type of things, but what are some of ya'll dudes' educated guesses?
Comments
As for the Fat Pat, your guess is as good as mine. Sometimes those records go for loot, other times they get no bids.
I have a few, some definitely random titles.
yes, plaese to drop info
what's the difference?
is it red with these on the bside?
1. supa star f. mike d
2. peep n me f. lil keke
That's the OG.
There's a repress circa 2002 backed with "MANN!!!" on the flip
Tough choice if you ask me.
I know you got the OG, ya bitch you! You ain't got nothing to prove to me... hahaha
Oh yeah, I'm hoarding Wossness 5 "duece out the roof" 12"... PM me with non-trade offer.
has sittin' sideways made it to vinyl yet?
Yep, promo-only... clean on one side, dirty on the other... no instrumental
ditto for the asylum pressing of webbie "gimmie that"
WEAK
The fact that this song has made it outta Tx/La is scary.
Bad bitch too?
I saw the gimme dat video on bet the other day potna...
you just don't have the context. it's not your fault (acutally..) you only hear it around white sorority girls.
thats right, keep em focused
I can vouch for its "real world" existence (for what it's worth, it's a 9-song EP - two of which are instrumentals)... With some of the recent prices of obscure hip hop joints
*cough*Phase&Rhythm*cough*MCOutloud*cough*,
I think $100 is a far cry from where it would end up...
now one more question to the texans in here:
what you know about a 12" that has
a:
tops drop
instrumental
b:
tops drop (h-town version)
?
thanks to all ya'll for your help.
Nope, you couldn't be more wrong. Keep trying to pigeonhole me though...
Besides, all those parties you've been spotted at in NYC (you and Brent) that bloggers can't seem to NOT take multiple crowd photos at...yeah, those look soooo hoodsoreal.
Above that though, "context" or not, I'd still rather listen to Fat Pat's "Wreckshop" on -8 and then go ahead and hear the og Yarbrough and Peoples track.
While we're at it...there are many more Texas classics than just "Mind's Playing Tricks On Me" and "Tops Drop". I want to hear some hipsters recognizing some "Sucka Free" by Big Mello (I know, it's just a rehash of "Miss You"...I'm such a hypocrite), "Just a Dog" by Big Moe, "Throw Your Hands Up" by ESG and Slim Thug, etc.
Ultimately I'd like someone to reissue Psyko Ward's "Rekreation"...but that's a whole 'nother post.
