Last show I saw was Seu Jorge. It was pretty cool. Went mostly because my lady loves his music. I'm looking foward to seeing Konono No. 1 at the Knitting factory (LA) on Nov. 7th. Fucking homemade mic's, amplified kalimbas, and distortion up the ying yang. Some weed will definately be my co pilot that night.Speaking of weed, the animal collective show is coming up too. It's going to be a good month. What are some shows you all just seen, or are excited for?

Talib Kweli sounds like ass live.

Blackalicious is doing a show here in a week and a half, but I don't know if I'll be able to swing the $17 for a ticket. I'd like to see them though.

Free jazz quintet featuring Leroy Jenkins, Jessica Jones, a member of a the AACM, and a japanese dude on bass at the Chicago Jazz Festival for free. Pretty much killin' it, while 90% of the audience was saying "that dude can't sing!" and "oh god...."
