The Soul Strut "Raer" Live Stream
Warming up the gear one more time for 2020:
We're celebrating our 25th episode and last stream of 2020 with a tribute to the "Sergeant Pepper's of rap", the Beastie Boy's landmark 1989 LP Paul's Boutique. DJ Raj Mahal channels his inner Dust Brother and raids the dolla bins for an hour of samples used on the hip hop classic. Tons of sleazy, slick 70s grooves, drum breaks, funky soul, Blue Note fusion, etc. It's all vinyl and all live!

Sleeve Strut.
I just did a MAJOR upgrade on inner and outer sleeves when I moved into my new custom shelving unit. It took me a few brands to figure out what I liked.
I'm a fan of durable and glassy. For that, the Big Fudge brand is amazing. For the inner sleeve, I prefer Taguchi Rounds. I haven't been able to get them in the states for a while, though. The "Invest in Vinyl" are a good substitute.
