WD-40 and cooking oil may also work. There are commercial products like un-du as well. These don't seem like a good idea... and beware of those commercial products as they're mainly good for metals but not all plastics.

It could be a ground loop. If you have any three pronged plugs for your equipment (incl your computer), you can try using a three prong to two prong adapter to plug it in to the electrical outlet. This may eliminate the ground loop. An easy way t…

is there a reason why you're not saving them as .wav files?

Go to Shibuya, drop G/f off at Tokyu Hands and find the cluster of record shops just around there. Both are happy.

Slight topic change but I do have to say: the Emotions' cover of "As Long As I've Got You" > The Charmels. I wouldn't think that was possible but it kind of is. The Emotions' version is good, but I have to say that the Charmels' version is still…

you can use software like sharepod to upload tunes off of your ipod.

The problem is just that. DJ's slowly go deaf and can therefore no longer gage the proper volume levels of playback. Is this why whenever I step up to a listening booth at a record shop the volumes are all maxed out?

Is that Lee Fields LP ever coming out? seriously. been wanting to cop since hearing this 45.
-
yes. I think the Lee Fields' new joints on Truth & Soul are worth checking as well. New album to drop this year.

friend, you are TWO songs into a mix and you're stumped and want us to come up with the rest?? I will gladly help, but it will cost you: the price of a CD, the cover art and liner notes fee, the shipping and my time.

I agree with Loop. Invest in good glass, it'll stay with you longer. As for the D90, there is the HD video capabilities which is not on the D80 if that is what you are after.

Thanks Frank, looking forward to checking this.

never done this so i can't speak on it. the thought of eliminating the ground cable is appealing though. I would just solder up a new cable to where the existing cable was connected then.
-
You can just splice the two broken ends and reconnect them. There's also a way you can resolder the ground to the rca cable to eliminate the ground cable altogether.

Oh yeah, how bout the people who always want to split a food bill halfway when they're the one who ordered those appetizers you didn't even want? Stay away from Japan then...

LOL - yup! Haha, good stuff! Hope you're doing well.
