Who cares? "Soulstrut moderators shouldn't give in to populist anger" *roffle* I wish a lot more people would be banned for being boring. Since we all can't come thru with mind expanding threads about the new Cam joint?

were the parents around to verify that the records were 'basically on the way to the trash'?

When I opened my shop about four years ago, I got a call from a local roller rink who had a box of 45s they wanted to get rid of. When I asked them to read off some titles, it became pretty clear that it was top-40 stuff from the eighties. I told th…

I'm sure they do that on occasion. I've seen them brewing the jib in the french press, but never actually seen the transfer to the thermos. Regardless, in my experience, the drip always tastes like it was just made a few minutes ago!
-
haha, good question. from what I gather, they have large french presses that they use to brew the coffee and then transfer it to the thermos.

RecordPeddler: Caffe Vita was the truth. Excellent drip coffee. Hit it up twice. ah, great news. they french press ALL of their drip, which i think is pretty rare for any coffee shop to do. but yeah, that place is legit. sounds like the conf…

What's the doghouse? I guess I'm not familiar? Haha, yeah, that looks like it was far before my time. Thanks for the info tho, always enjoy hearing a bit of Seattle history.

Yeah, I suppose they prolly would be. But the way I see it, if they're around good coffee, that might as well take advantage of it. What's the doghouse? I guess I'm not familiar?

If the conference is at the EMP, one of my favorite coffee jernts is just a few blocks north of there on 5th Ave (just N of Mercer). It's called Cafe Vita and I think you'd be hard pressed to find better coffee in the city (tho I will say there are…

That's the truth. I know that I've been nothing but pleased with every Wax Po release I've picked up and I don't think that's gonna be changing anytime in the near future.

I got mine done thru a craigslist ad for $20. Overall am super happy with it. Don't have a data plan but have internet whenever there's wifi. Kons are you can't update iTunes once you've sync'd with the phone (so I hear). And I haven't been able to …

seriously, when dude played at bumbershoot in seattle this past year, i was blown away by the amount of energy he brought to the table. tho i can imagine at his age, it would be tough to do that every day while on tour. i'm pretty sure he also p…

Spike fought Sony HARD on this one, trying to keep it real. any fluffification this film may include is entirely Sonys fault. He said he was going to get his way in the end, but that was almost a year ago, so i hope he got his way... I think it wa…

what everyone else said... the strut has definitely added tons of value to my life in terms of music, current events and humor. for the most part, the quality of discourse is top notch.

what kind of business do you want to go into? knowing excel inside and out is an excellent tool. that shit goes preeeeety deep IMO. i mean, i guess it does suck to work with numbers that don't really mean anything tho.

"Who the hell was he, who gives a flip". nah, not like that. it's always sad to see people go when nature takes over. The more fame you have the bigger news story you become. i guess that's the bottom line.
-
It's certainly too bad... but I guess from my perspective, I don't understand how it's any different than any other person getting lost at sea? Again, not to downplay the seriousness of this or anything.

yeah, it's complicated stuff cause there are lots of varying factors in any of these situations... as many have mentioned. in my neighborhood in Seattle, there are a few dudes that really provide some value. there is a guy named pops who drums o…
