I try not to do this too often but can any one give me a price czech on this kind of lame prog album that I picked up today? My usual on-line resources aren't giving me anything. It's Ache - Pictures From Cyclus Seven, Holland press. Oh, and I don't…

Nice. How is that Erica Pomerance? I've only listened to it once...at moments it strangely reminded me of the Charles Manson record...which I like.

Originally wrote this one off as a tepid but it turned out to be a grower. Late night charmer with some moments almost reminiscent of Saint Etienne.

Looks Yeah, it's pretty awesome. Hal Blaine plays drums on this!

I believe him. There's a truely "special" breed of record collector among us and I believe every word he wrote...you don't make that kind of stuff up. Regardless, be straight up with him and let him know you need the money by a certain date or yo…

1985 was the birth of EMO: Rites of Spring LP on Dischord is a personal all timer. 1985 was Revolution Summer in DC with Embrace and Dag Nasty tearing it up as well (though their first albums woulndn't come out until 86/87.

Hmm...I have a Cogwheel album from the late 70's that I think ain't bad. Then again, I like some of that weather channel synth shit. If memory serves correct, it has some decent breaks (if that's your thing). That's probably the one I'm refering to…

$14,000 for five bootleg albums...AMAZING

I've always felt that the ERIK "Look Where I Am" was a super underrated album. It's psychedelic and pretty accessable without being commercial. It's one of those albums that when you play it around other people, they all want to know what it is...

Looks like there's a copy up now ending in four days. I could be totally wrong regarding it's current value, but back in my punk collecting days this was super common (most titles on CD Presents were pressed in large quantities). I guess the Basquia…

Heres a pic of that Off's lp. Mark just pulled this for 20 bucks today. I have a vague recollection of it seeing it on ebay for a few hundred a while back. Anybody know this one? Record collectors + art collectors= It's a $10-$15 album...p…

Yeah, I've always known AOR as Adult Oriented Rock, and taken that to mean super mellow rock that Japanese collectors will pay big money for. That Googie Coppola album thats not AIR, Phase7, Asia, even some melodic metal whatever that means. Luckily…

Twas a good day for paste on covers: Drugs, Crime and Redemption:

The Headcoats album with the gun on the cover is amazing. Lyrics are pretty deep too dealing with child abuse. All the singles from this era are so necessary too ("Girl from '62", "Gun In My Fathers Hand", etc...).

Flippers has some The Flippers were a pretty huge deal around these parts in the late 60s. I think the LP sucks, but so many of my older record friends talk about this band as if they were the Beatles. Apparently they smoked live.

So far Lavender Country isn't rocking my world but I do think it would have made a terrific soundtrack to Brokeback Mountain. That's so funny you said that as I was pretty much thinking the same thing but didn't want to say it...I think that's why …

Pete Eye has two LPs, both Cavern Customs. Kansas City was his home and still is. He has two LPs and both come easily in the KS/MO area. Honky jazz versions of "Cissy Strut" still won't make the record collectable. I sold one a while back on Eba…

At a quarter a piece, you should probably be picking up every 12" in the spot...not much of a risk there, my friend.
